Welcome to ASPENSI Website

The ASPENSI (Asosiasi Sarjana Pendidikan Sejarah Indonesia or Association of Indonesian Scholars of History Education) was firstly established in Bandung, on May 20, 2006, in the context to commemorate the National Awakening Day in Indonesia.

The main objective of ASPENSI is to promote and develop of History Education and Historical Studies, and other disciplines, by conducting the research, organizing the conference and workshop as well as publishing the scholarly journals.

Since firstly established for period 2008 to 2013 and for period 2013 to 2018, the ASPENSI has been chaired by Andi Suwirta, M.Hum., a Senior Lecturer at the Department of History Education FPIPS UPI (Faculty of Social Studies Education, Indonesia University of Education) in Bandung, West Java, Indonesia.

Until now, the members of ASPENSI are not only coming from Indonesia, but also from Southeast Asian countries and even around the globe.

By subscribing the scholarly journal managed by Minda Masagi Press, owned by ASPENSI in Bandung, you are able to be member of ASPENSI.
